3 French Hens in Town Center Plaza will graciously open their store to h
ost a Celebration of the Arts on Sunday, May 23 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with wine and hors d’oeuvres. This event will benefit Good Samaritan Project’s Corks and Canvas auction on June 11th at Boulevard Brewing Company.
During the gathering, participants may purchase items from the store and 25% of those proceeds will go to the Corks and Canvas benefit. Participants will be able to preview some of the art available for auction at the benefit as well as take part in creating a community work of art to be displayed for one year at a prominent public location.
“Illumination of the Heart” will be the title and inspiration for the community acrylic painting. Everyone wishing to participate in this one of a kind piece of art will be asked to donate $25 to the Corks and Canvas benefit and in return will receive one minute with paint, brush, and the community canvas to “make their mark” in helping to educate about HIV and support families stricken with this virus.
Help the Good Samaritan Project with their first annual community painting with a purpose – for a purpose! The 3 French Hen’s Celebration of Art will continue through June 5th as the community painting will be available during
regular store hours for anyone wishing to add their creative touch to the community work. 3 French Hens is open Monday thru Saturday from 10am to 9pm. All proceeds from “Illumination of the Heart” will go to the Corks and Canvas Benefit.
